We are both retired, with Pam spending most of her life being a homemaker and mother, and Jerry being a Marine Corps Veteran and just recently medically retired from public service. When we were looking at retiring we realized that every time we drove up from Georgia through the Smoky Mountain National Park our heart rate and blood pressure would go down and we would breath easier. Just driving through looking at the dusting of snow and ice around the creeks and waterfalls or the dappled light through the spring green leaves or the fall explosion of color, we would go into relaxation/vacation mode. We wanted more of that and we wanted to share that with our friends and family. But we needed to also provide an income for our family. So....we started buying cabins with that in mind. Our goal is to provide a place for our guests to come home to, to be able to breath easier and slow your heart rate down. A place to gather your family or group together, to wake up together and have breakfast or cook dinner, to sit and chat long into the night, to enjoy doing life together even if it’s just for a long weekend or week. Or a romantic time with just your loved one without distractions of the outside world. We feel like we are well on our way to achieving our goal with a wide range of types of cabins for our different types of guests. And we look forward to sharing our slowed heart rate and lowered blood pressure with you, our guests.
